There is one thing everyone knows about Romania. It is the home of Dracula and his real-life inspiration, the simultaneously barbaric and heroic Vlad Tepes. But Transylvania is only the north-west and most beautiful part of Romania. It features the Transfagarasan Highway, declared by BBC's Top Gear to be the most beautiful driving road in the world.

There are multiple resorts on the Black Sea. Bucharest is one of the region's largest cities, and boasts the Parliament Palace - the world's largest pariament building. There is a vast array of churches of all sizes throughout the country, many of them hundreds of year old.
