Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland has much to offer for such a small country. It is a golfing hothouse, with three majors winners in 2010 and 2011 and a number of excellent courses. It has recovered from The Troubles to rebrand itself as a fun-filled and exciting place. You can surf, hike, hit the bars of Belfast or Derry, and travel the Antrim Coast Road to visit the Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.

And continue on to Bushmills and the 400-year-old distillery, and then on again to Derry and the Bogside Murals. George Best grew up in Belfast and the city airport was named after him in 2006.
