Luxembourg
Luxembourg is a small country in Western Europe in a historically strategic location sandwiched between France, Germany and Belgium. It has one of the best standards of living in the world. The capital, Luxembourg, has a pretty centre that makes it feel like a small town. It is easily walkable and the Casements Bock is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Alzette River flows through a deep valley that it has gouged out of the city. There are many similar valleys in the Ardennes Mountains in the north of the country. Diekirch has a remarkable museum dedicated to the Battle of The Bulge with several huge dioramas.
