Almost entirely flat, Denmark makes for a pleasant cycling holiday, with many paths throughout the country. Copenhagen is the biggest tourist draw and is marketed along with Malmo in Sweden as part of a two-nation vacation. The two are linked by the beautiful Oresund Bridge – a road and rail bridge which also serves as an express link from Copenhagen Airport to both cities.

Many tourists first stop in Copenhagen is the Rundetarn which has a very unusual ramp instead of stairs and offers terrific views of the city. Legoland in Billund is also popular, as is the island sea – a remote archipelago south of Odense.
