Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has very restrictive visa policies for non-Muslims. If you are Muslim, however, you are required to perform the Hajj at least once in your lifetime if you are financially able. Most visitors arrive in Jeddah and then travel to nearby Mecca. It is forbidden for non-Muslims to enter this city. The Sacred Mosque there is the largest in the world and can accommodate up to 4 million worshippers.

Women are not allowed to drive or ride bicycles, and on most occasions must be accompanied by a male guardian. No alcohol is sold and entertainment options are limited. Desert excursions are easily found.
